• The fee for the class is $25. Cash, Personal Checks, Money Orders, Visa, Master Card, and American Express are all acceptable forms of payments.
• You must register with the Safety Council SWLA and pay for the class before the class will be scheduled.
• The class is a six-hour class and can be taken in either two three-hour sessions or one all-day class.
• Classes are offered on two consecutive Monday nights from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. or one Saturday from 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the Safety Council SWLA.  All-day classes are offered about once a month at the Safety Council SWLA.
• If you elect to take the two-part class, they must be taken in sequence. If the first or second part of the class is missed you must reschedule and take both classes over. There is a $25 rescheduling fee to reschedule any class unless a doctor's or work excuse is provided within five business days of the class missed.
• All Defensive Driving instructors are DTA certified.
• Our program is accepted by the State of Louisiana as a pre-licensing program.
