• This course is offered through Volunteers of America.
• There is no fee with the Safety Council SWLA for this program.
• You must register with the Safety Council SWLA and fill out all appropriate forms prior to registering with Volunteers of America.
• Volunteers of America is located at 340 Kirby St Lake Charles, LA 70601. Once registered with the Safety Council SWLA you may contact Eddie Windham at (337) 497-0034 for registration information for the Domestic Violence Offenders Program (DVOP).
• Fees for DVOP are for registration and per class. Fees are based upon a sliding scale and will be paid to Volunteers of America.
• Clients will meet once a week from four to six months in a small class room setting.
• The course is designed to educate domestic violence offenders to reduce and hopefully eliminate the incidents of domestic violence in their relationships.
