Domestic Violence Offenders Program
This course is offered through Volunteers of America.
There is no fee with the Safety Council SWLA for this program.
You must register with the Safety Council SWLA and fill out all appropriate forms prior to registering with Volunteers of America.
Volunteers of America is located at 340 Kirby St Lake Charles, LA 70601. Once registered with the Safety Council SWLA you may contact Eddie Windham at (337) 497-0034 for registration information for the Domestic Violence Offenders Program (DVOP).
Fees for DVOP are for registration and per class. Fees are based upon a sliding scale and will be paid to Volunteers of America.
Clients will meet once a week from four to six months in a small class room setting.
The course is designed to educate domestic violence offenders to reduce and hopefully eliminate the incidents of domestic violence in their relationships.
