Community Service Program

  • The fee for this program is $45. Cash, Personal Checks, Money Orders, Visa, Master Card, and American Express are all acceptable forms of payment.
  • Multiple locations in which client can perform community service are available depending on client availability and location of living (locations are non-profit organizations).
  • Clients must register with the Safety Council SWLA, sign a community service contract, and pay for the program prior to being scheduled for community service.
  • Clients who the courts are allowing to transfer their community service must still come to the Safety Council, register, sign a contract, and pay for the program prior to being scheduled for community service. The client must then find a non-profit organization in their area and call, fax, or mail the following information about the worksite within 10 days of registering with our office: Name of organization, Supervisor's name overseeing their work, Phone number of organization, and Address of organization. After the information about the worksite is received and verified then the worksite will be mailed the appropriate paperwork.
  • Clients will not be allowed to begin their community service work until they receive their reminder letter in the mail with worksite address and contact person.
