Background Screening Program Requirements
 
  • All Background Screening requests must come from an approved contractor via the Safety Council SWLA web site.
  • Approved contractors must sign the three party agreement between the contractor, the Safety Council of SWLA and First Advantage Corporation.
  • Approved contractors must undergo an inspection from either First Advantage Corporation or the Safety Council of SWLA to verify they are a business with a business reason for requesting a Background Screen on an individual in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • To process a screen, log into the system with your login and password and complete the registration procedure.

Review of an Existing Background Screen

  • Only approved contractors (per above) may have access to the system to review an existing screen.
  • Log into the system with your login and password and enter the name and social security number of the screen you wish to review in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the 3 way agreement.
